If we don't have the book, audiotape, video, DVD you want,
then we can usually get it through interlibrary loan.

  • Kansas has a state-wide catalog listing millions of books, audiocassettes, videos, DVDs, etc. owned by Kansas public, school and college libraries. This catalog is called the Kansas Library Catalog, KLC for short. Anyone can search this catalog and, if you have our library card, can call us at 792-4865 and request this the item. We will order it and notify you when it comes to our library.
  • You can also ask us for items not listed on the KLC. We will forward your request to the Central Kansas Library System in Great Bend. They will request your item on an international library catalog called WorldCat. The item will be forwarded to this library and we will notify you when it comes.
  • If an item is unavailable on WorldCat, the Central Kansas Library System often buys such items if available at a reasonable price.
